Rose Cottage

The ghost here is said to be a young woman who had a baby out of wedlock in the 17th century. She killed her baby before taking her own life. However, an alternate version is that she returns to look for her baby that was put up for adoption against her will. She is said to float around and move furniture, and nocturnal noises became so bad that three tenants fled in the 1980s. A blessing by a priest was only a temporary measure and soon the disturbances began again. It is said that activity is much diminished.
