Blenheim Palace

One ghost that haunts the house is the of the First Duke of Marlborough's Chaplain, Dean James (or Jones); rather appropriately he appears in the rooms named after himself! A roundhead also manifests in one of the rooms, warming himself by the fire. Another spectre is that of King Henry II's mistress Rosamund who was poisoned after being given poison by his wife Eleanor of Aquitaine. She is said to be seen sometimes in the restaurant kitchens and a place called Rosamund's Well.

Update 3/8/21: Lorna, a worker at the palace informed me via Facebook, "...to my knowledge we haven't had any reports at the Palace of any inexplicable phenomena."
