Bishop's Stortford Independent (Closed)

When this was the "Herts and Essex Observer", a figure in white was seen gliding down the stairs, followed by the sound of chairs and tables being thrown around above, as well as footsteps and thudding noises. However, there was no furniture or other items in the room to account for the sounds. A receptionist also saw a figure walk out of one room and into another on the fourth floor; due to a white board obstructing her view, she could only see the legs. There have also been reports of drops in temperature, lights turning on in the cellar, the smell of tobacco, the sensation of being pushed and items disappearing, only to reappear days later. It is not known if the "Bishops Stortford Independent" (who took over the building but have since moved out, leaving it vacant) have experienced anything similar.
