The Old New Inn

In the 1970s, a certain room was so haunted that chambermaids would only attend to it in pairs; also there are reports of the old "attendance" bells in the kitchen ringing by themselves. More recently, one of the staff had encountered a female ghost in the doorway to a room; it is in this room that maids would return after a few minutes absence to find a mark on the bed as if someone had been seated there. There is also the sound of footsteps in the building.
