The White Lion

Spectral crowds of men have been seen in the pub, and "wailings" have been heard outside, it is said. This is the place where witch-hunters, judges and the public gathered in the middle ages.

Update 21/1/22: The pub responded to my Facebook query for any recent phenomena: "Previous landlord and landlady reported seeing a lady in the living quarters upstairs And I’ve witness twice glasses flying off tables other nobody near it." When asked how recent these reports were, I was told, "Glasses were recent we’ve only been here since 2020 Sighting was bout 6/7 years ago"
