St Mary the Virgin Church

A spectral bride has been seen running from the door through the churchyard - sometimes she is just seen standing and staring; a local story says that she heard on her wedding day that her husband to be had been killed and she ran to her father's grave where she cried herself to death. A historic report claims that monks carrying incense burners were also seen proceeding down the aisle.
