The Corner Cupboard Inn

A phantom of a little girl inhabits this inn, but is heard more often than seen; when she does make an appearance, she skips around the tables, singing and playing games, although she was once seen washing her hands in a basin in a bedroom. She is thought to be the resident's daughter in the 1800s who died when she cut her finger and an infection killed her. The sound of a child crying is attributed to this young phantom. In addition, a lady hanging a dress in front of a bedroom window was seen from outside the building; when the occupier rushed in, there was no sign of an intruder. A glass has been seen to levitate, float across the room and then fall and smash; the landlord and several punters said that this wasn't the first time that this had happened. The pub's website says, "There are reports of The Inn being haunted by the ghost of a 12 year old girl visitors have heard running across the Floor Boards above the Bar."
