The Greedy Goose

Known previously as The Cross Hands and then Moreton's Pub and Restaurant, a lady in "an old fashioned dress" has been seen here, walking across the bar before vanishing; she may be the same figure who walks the corridors, entering rooms and causing some occupants to flee. A strong aroma of perfume was detected on the stairs once, and a woman's voice was heard loudly calling out when the pub was empty. A door was also kicked in with some force, again when the building was unoccupied. Also, when employees entered the pub in the morning, a CD player was found to be on, despite being turned off the night before; and wailing has been heard too. It is said that a car crash in 2009, which left a huge hole in the front wall invigorated the spirit activity!
