Hailes Abbey

The last remaining monk at this abbey is said to be at the abbey. He elected to stay to watch the dissolution and to guard the holy relic to whom he had been entrusted - a small phiall which contained the drops of Christs's blood. He is said to walk among the ruins, guarding the relic. Some reports say that there is more than one spectral monk at the abbey.
