Figures in flying gear have been seen on the site. Although much of the old buildings and infrastructure have now been demolished, in the past laughter and conversation have been heard coming from old squadron huts. In addition, swing music had also been heard coming from a hanger, only for it to be found empty on investigation. It is said that Glenn Miller played in this very same hanger.
