Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn

A 1989 document states that, "The maze of small rooms and connecting passage inside the ancient Reindeer tavern have long been the haunt of 'a grim cavalier figure'. It is probable that he was one of the royalists tried in the Globe Room when Cromwell himself held trials here."
