Bull Hotel

The ghost is said to be Richard Evered who was murdered in hallway in 1648; afterwards, his body was left in a side room but disappeared overnight before he could be buried (another version says that his corpse vanished when people went to get help). Evered and his murderer, Roger Greene, still haunt the Bull Hotel, with Greene King specifying room 4, and there are reports of temperature drops, footsteps and other noises, moving furniture, doors opening and closing, the sound of howling dogs and poltergeist like activity.
