The Crown

A monk has been seen beside the pond in front of the pub; it walks across the car park and into the woods. A monk, possibly the same one, is said to walk the pub and may be the "figure in black" seen by a previous landlord's sons. They were so alarmed they rushed back to their room and armed themselves with snooker cues to confront the intruder! An area behind the bar also has an unaccountable warm spot - as if someone had been standing there.
