The CommanderySidbury, Worcester, Worcestershire WR1 2HU 01905 361821 It is said that the Duke of Hamilton haunts the Solar room; during the Civil War, this building was the headquarters for the Royalists and the Duke was badly injured in the Battle of Worcester. After being carried back here, he later died and was buried under the floor. He was later reburied in Worcester Cathedral. There have been claims of swords clashing, a spectral monk and a crying woman. The staff are also said to hear footsteps and running and one of them was once pushed. A witness also heard a little girl giggling at the top of the back stairs, and said, "She was in between me and my husband and we both jumped back at the same time. Clear as day."
