The Boot Inn

A young man was seen by the licensees daughter about twenty years ago. There were also problems with the electricity and no amount of tinkering would coax it to work again; the pub was rewired two or three times but the problems always recurred. In the middle of the night, bacon could be smelt cooking - the smell was described as being "strong." Items would be reported missing, and never reappear, and footsteps would be heard on the stairs going up to the landlord's living area - but there was no-one there. The most recent reports are of glass vases suddenly shattering, and of guests in one room complaining of something brushing past them or sitting on their bed.
