The ghost of a Civil War soldier (seen at the top of a staircase where a secret room was once found) has not been seen recently, but footsteps in the upper part of the building have been heard.

Update: 20/7/22 Alex Smaridge, the Engagement Manager replied to my query about any recent phenomena: "The opinions on this range across our team. I have never experienced of heard anything odd or inexplicable, though myself and other do believe we have ghostly visitors in our building." When I asked if he could remember anything that his team had experienced in the past, I was told, "I’m afraid not. No one has ever shared any specific stories with me. We just generally assume that Enid, the previous curator still lives at the museum and some of us some times greet her memory when we arrive in the morning or when we leave. Apologies but we have no stories of objects moving or mystery noises."
