The Chequers (Closed)St Mary's Street, Eynesbury, St Neots, Cambridgeshire PE19 2TA A male spectre of about 50 years of age wearing a long cloth coat was seen seated in a wooden chair in the bar. A vase was hurled off a shelf and a phantom cat was observed to walk through the dining room wall. Although phenomena then quietened down, door, bumps, bangs, footsteps and doors opening and closing sometimes occurred before the pub closed. |
