St Kenelm's Churchyard

A ghost is said to be in the churchyard, "living" in the hollow yew tree. He is said to be Sir Ralf Wisham (or Wysham). He was killed when his horse reacted violently by a large yew tree; he was thrown off and killed, his dog refusing to leave his side. His tomb is adorned with a carving of a flying dog.
