Shuckburgh Hall

Lt.Sharp, who fought against the Napeolic campaign, took a liking to Lucy Shuckburgh, against the wishes of her father, who eventually banned the lieutenant from his home. He did agree that she could see him one last time. At the rendezvous in the road towards Napton on the Hill, Sharp took out a gun and shot Lucy in the head then took his own life. Their spectres have been seen on the road as well as the hall.
