Wootton Hall

A "Grey Lady" haunts the upper floors of this building, sometimes accompanied by the smell of violets (sometimes the aroma is detected without the phantom being seen).

Update 10/8/20: Julie Folkes, whose family own the hall, says that, "we still have a few unexplained events happen." In later correspondence, she told me, "We still smell the perfume and I have walked through it in the past. The grey lady on the first floor I saw back when I was 18 but that was a long time ago. When you live in a place like the hall it seems normal you are never sure if you image it or it happened ... Of course there are many stories and my mother ( she died when I was young) saw many things."
