Whitehills

A figure surrounded by a green haze has been seen here, and has been blamed on clocks and electrical equipment having "a mind of their own." The sceptical landlord once served a customer who claimed that he was an exorcist, and chatted with him until he turned away to serve another customer. When the landlord turned back, the exorcist had vanished - and his full pint glass was empty. The domain of the ghost(s) is said to be in the cellar, where a large keg of beer drained in a short time and the pub's dog refused to venture.
