Coventry Cathedral Ruins

It is said that in the area of the ruins, the sounds of aircraft engines, explosions and guns have been heard, and searchlights piercing the sky have been seen at 2am in the morning; a spectral remnant of the attempt by the Luftwaffe to destroy Coventry in World War 2. It is not clear if this phenomena is still reported.
