The Albion

It is not known at present if phenomena still occurs here, but certainly between 2015 and 2019 a variety of happenings were experienced. The landlady during this time grew up in the pub and she sometimes talked of a man who was regularly seen, normally in the pool room, and was described as having his head down and minding his own business. Bar staff talk of strange sounds like bangings and something that sounded like chains dropping onto the floor. A search of the premises revealed nothing amiss. The atmosphere in the pub was described as making one feel uneasy, and shadows were seen out of the corner of the eye while cleaning up. The perennial UK problem of bottles coming undone from holders, and glasses falling off shelves (even when not over packed), would also exhibit itself in this pub.
