Stokesay Castle

A spectral raven is said to haunt this castle; according to legend, it guards a treasure that belonged to two giants. A visitor to the south tower in 2015 heard "heavy and quick" footsteps approaching on the stairs and she saw a man with "a silvery-grey head" (presumably a helmet) and wearing a beige coloured shirt. He then vanished but the footsteps could still be heard, retreating.
