The ghost reported here is said to be Leon Salberg, who managed the theatre until his death at the building in 1937. He appears in the dress circle, stairs to the original foyer and the stalls. In the bar in the Salberg suite, a phantom walked through a wall and pulled out the plug of a vacuum cleaner and waved it at a cleaner! Another man who died here, in the Wardrobe department, has been heard walking down the corridor leading to his room and seen by an actress on the stairs - he even greeted her with a "good evening"! These are just a few of the cases reported here - there are many, many others!
