Each July, a young man and woman, carrying a baby are seen sitting or walking in the graveyard. Their story dates back to the 18th century, when a man became enamoured with a gypsy girl, much to the alarm of the villagers who tried to warn him. They both ignored the comments and were married, but in July, the girl died in childbirth; the baby died soon afterwards. The man used to visit their grave every day until he died of a broken heart on the anniversary of his family's death. He was found slumped over the grave and was buried with his wife and child.
