The Old Rectory

Several phenomena have been reported in the apartments here; a resident heard a thump and found her eldest child heaped on the floor as if she had been thrown out of bed; and when they moved into another portion of the building, her younger daughter saw a figure, who seems to have been dressed like a servant or a butler walk into her room, through her bunk and into the wall. A few years later, in another flat, a boy who was being looked after saw a man wearing long, baggy shorts and a white "fluffy" shirt walk through a wall (only the boy could see the figure). In addition to the stories of strange noises, a bizarre figure wearing an exotic, embroidered shirt with a mandarin collar was seen at a garden party. Later on, no one knew who he was and it is thought that he might have been the spirit of a past vicar who had a sizeable wardrobe. He was driven off into obscurity after it was found that he lied about his war record.
