Lynford Hall (Closed)
Lynford Road, Mundford, Thetford, Norfolk IP26 5HW
A phantom cat had been seen on a window sill and on the front door step. It turned out that in the 1920s the resident's daughter secretly kept Persian cats although her father had forbidden her from doing so. When he found out, he shot them all. Of the other ghosts at the Hall, these comprise of a man wearing a top hat and a dress coat in the garden, and another male in a green jacket and red waistcoat. Additionally, very early in the morning, two ladies in crinolines had been seen on the bridge over the Long Water, before fading into the morning mist. A phantom coach and horse is also supposed to haunt the Hall but it had not been seen recently as of 1979.
