The Western Range

A girl aged 7 or 8 years old and wearing Victorian clothes has been seen seated inside the window of one of the houses here; she is only ever seen by people outside the building. A man in a cloak and top hat has been seen just after midnight walking along an upper floor corridor, and then walks through a wall. The old Tourist Information office, in the cellar of one of the houses, has, or had, a ghostly monk nick-named "Benedict". He has been blamed for lights being turned on and off, items being moved, banging, coldness and other phenomena. He may be the same spectre as seen in the Minster Precincts, where he a fondness for a room that housed a photocopier!
