The Stables Inn

The tenants from 1996 to 2004 noticed that "all kings of things" used to happen, but only when they moved in and then when they put the pub up for sale and it is speculated that the ghost was spurned into activity by a change in the building's circumstance. These phenomena include finding the cellar door open, and even hearing the latch on the door rattle; and on one occasion it opened in full view. The pump and lamp in the corner would be found turned on too. The sound of a dart hitting the board had also been heard even though the area was empty; when they went to check, a solitary dart was found embedded in the wood surround rather than the board itself.

Update 29/11/2025: The pub responded to my query for any recent phenomena: "Im afraid our pub isn't Haunted at all!"
