Swaffham Museum

Situated in the town hall, the museum is said to be haunted by the ghost of a woman. Although never seen, her presence is heralded by a feeling of another person in the room (naturally, there is no one there) and a cold sensation. It is speculated whether this could be Mrs Aldiss, who lived in the building with the husband when it was her home, in the early 20th century. She took to wandering the house for days wearing her long dress and sleeping in a separate room from her husband.
