The Hole In The Wall

The ghost of one time resident Sarah Schutte ("Lady Sarah") has been seen here with a smile on her face and then walks through a wall. She is said to have fallen in love with a man below her social status. Her ghost is seen where the stables used to stand (now the toilets) and where the twosome used to meet. According to stories, the two were caught and her lover vanished and she was locked up in the cellar by her father and left to starve to death.
