When this was known as Tollit and Harvey, in 1995 there were stories of uncanny phenomena here. Security guards heard screams and moans but police were unable to ascertain the source and there were no signs of a break-in. In other incidents, the unplugged factory tannoy system, which operated on a timer, suddenly played music in the middle of the night; papers were found strewn in an office hours after a check had determined that everything was normal some time before; and a cleaner saw someone in an office, and her description matched that of a former director who had died several years before. There were also stories of a name being called out, unexplained scraping and dragging noises, and footsteps.
