Cokesford Cottage

Back Street, Tittleshall, Norfolk PE32 2PW

A very old building, it had been abandoned for many years falling prey to the elements and vermin. The first owners from 1970-8 noted a pentagram on the floor and the wall, and very shortly afterwards, a ghostly black labrador dog was seen running up the newly installed stairs. A few years later, a young boy dressed in green and sopping wet was seen on the landing, and there was also a phantom man seen at the end of the resident's bed. These ghosts were only ever seen once. Unusual lights were also observed in the next door field too. In the 1990s, new occupants too over and this time the pentagram(s?) had gone, perhaps removed by the previous residents who were clergymen. The new owners noticed that their alarm system kept going off despite replacement and indicated an intruder in the room where the floor pentagram had been. "Things" were heard, and apparitions at the end of the bed and a small figure on the landing (described as like "a shivering movement") seen too.
