The Wenns Chop and Ale House

Many years ago, the unexplained sound of a baby crying was heard in the upstairs area. Disembodied talking was also heard in the main living room, and a chair was heard scraping along the floor by itself outside a bedroom on the top floor. Paw prints were also found going from wall to wall in a disused room on the top floor - they had not been there when that section of the building had been explored previously. The bar area has had problems with glasses being smashed after hours, and a previous landlady talked of her hair being pulled in her sleep. The most recent recorded activity was in 2022 when a guest stopping in an apartment prior to her wedding felt transfixed and unable to move when in the kitchen. She had the feeling that someone was standing behind her and after a few minutes was able to move, whereupon out of the corner of her eye, she saw a tall black figure move into the hallway.
