King's Lynn Library

When this was a branch of Argos, there were various incidents reported by staff in the stock room. There were tales of "strange goings on", including a shadowy figure sometimes seen in the peripheral vision, footsteps, items found to have been moved and a gravelley voice that issued grumbling sounds. One worker was told by a colleague that someone she knew fancied him - but the informant was a professed psychic and the source of these affection was "Annie," the resident ghost! Whether these phenomena occur in the building's new guise as the new town library is yet to be determined.
