The Eagle
110 Norfolk Street, King's Lynn, Norfolk PE30 1AQ

On June 21st, 1942 a Luftwaffe bomb landed on the Eagle Hotel; at the time, a 21st birthday party, including many servicemen was in full swing; 42 people lost their lives in the raid. A new hotel was built on the site, opening in 1959. Although spectrally quiet at present, in the past staff and customers have reported odd phenomena including a man sitting in a chair, bottle caps flying out of the holders after being removed, a beer keg being moved and rolled along the cellar, bottles falling off shelves and ashtrays "flying off shelves and tables."
