When this was "The Head Shop", in 1995 there were multiple reports of phenomena here, such as lights turning on and off inexplicably; "rosy" smells in the normally fusty stock cupboard; the sound of footsteps, especially in the loft when nobody was up there; and the sight of smoke in the mirrors – when there was no smoke in the shop. Whether anything has been experienced by the current occupants of the shop is not known.
