The sound of conversation and laughter have been heard, and a spectre nick-named "George" in 15th century garb has been seen occasionally - and has been blamed for workmen's tools to be moved.

Update 11/7/22: When asked on Facebook if anything had been experienced recently, I was told "I can't say that we have had anything recently I'm afraid." This was confirmed by researcher Greg Hardman in June 2026; "[I] Spoke to a Duty Manager who was surprised to hear there is a ghost story linked to the property. She said she has never heard or seen anything and hasn't had anything mentioned to her by other members of staff."
