16 Tuesday Market Place

King's Lynn, Norfolk PE30 1JN

There is a heart above a window that overlooks the market place; when Mary Smith was burnt as a witch, it is said her heart flew out of her body and into the wall, leaving the mark. Ghostly mutterings, footsteps, and doors opening and closing of their own accord have been experienced in the house. The neighbouring buildings have had their shares of phenomena too, including an editor who got shoved and a black shape that looked out of the window of "The Lynn News" offices, while in other premises, keys disappearing, items being moved by an invisible force and the usual plethora of phantom forces have been displayed.
