Castle Rising Tearoom

Staff would often hear the sound of chairs moving above them on the first floor and thinking that customers might want attention, they would head up only to find no-one there. A little girl who has been seen on this floor also seemingly has a liking for "sparkly" things as the crystals on the chandelier would often be found played with. Poltergeist-like phenomena had been encountered, such as the coffee machines obligingly being turned on when staff arrived in the morning. Apparitions include a face on the other side of the entrance window, and in the garden a hooded man in a cloak who was described as transparent. However, since the visit of a ghost hunting group some 10-15 years ago all is now quiet, except for occasional sightings of the little girl through the upstairs window; interestingly she is only ever seen from outside the building and one time, a small handprint was found on the window, resisting attempts to be washed off.
