Stafford Castle

A headless horseman rides around the lands; though it is said by some that it is only the sound of hooves and not a visible apparition that is encountered. Additionally, doors slamming shut, a giggling girl who runs from visitors, the smell of perfume, the (possible!) spectral sound of an anvil being used and a loud clock in a room that lacks such a device have been reported here.
