Ghostly activity here may be due to a child who strayed into the road and was accidentally knocked down and killed by a driver in February 1975. Some 10-20 years ago, the daughter of the resident of the house saw a little girl, and another figure was seen at another point. The family also often felt someone walking closely past them and they often heard noises. The neighbour had also heard whispering coming from next door and they were so unnerved that they slept downstairs to avoid the sounds.
