Repton School

Frederick Wickham-Railton, aged 14 is reputed to haunt the building. He was accidentally killed in an initiation ceremony when he was struck on the head by an ink bottle hidden inside a pillowcase. His ghost is said to run up and down the gallery late at night; it was in this location that the ceremony took place, while the boys lashed out at him with pillowcases and wet towels.
