Izaak Walton's Cottage

The phantom of angler Walton himself has reportedly been seen here, as well as "Miriam", who is described as being very dark, with thick greasy hair and "rather dour in manner." Her presence is usually heralded by a drop in temperature. Lights and electrical equipment have been known to switch on and off by themselves. In the cottage and nearby area has been seen a man wearing 17th century clothing who walks through trees and hedgerows, following the route of an old path.
