Old Colehurst Manor

A happy ghost with a cheerful round face and long hair has been seen here. He is given the nick-name "Fred" and is dressed in the fashions of the 17th century. Three other ghosts that are seen are seated near the windows downstairs; they are a young couple who are comforting a crying baby. As soon as the child is suitably consoled the ghostly tableau vanishes. There is also a man in a certain room, and children seen playing in the gardens. In the past, the "Red Room" was subject to noises in the night.
