An unusually long lasting poltergeist story (with some phantoms being seen too) that went on from 1971 to about 2016. The usual multitude of phenomena was reported including footsteps, items being moved and hurled around, cold spots, voices, outbreaks of fire and people levitating. The family received so much ridicule, especially from the church, that they issued a statement a few weeks after they had moved in that exorcisms had removed the miscreant ghosts. However, the hauntings persisted and the medium visited on about 6 or 7 occasions, expelling a ghost on each visit - until only one remained that refused to depart.
