Derby Market

This area, where the old police station was located, is haunted by PC Joseph Moss who was shot dead in 1859. When the station was demolished and replaced by the market, his ghost remained.

Update 7/7/21: Sharon Tunnicliffe, the Administration and Finance Assistant for the Market Services informs me, "Having worked in Markets for the last 10 years and the past 4 year being based in the Market Hall, I personally have never experienced anything untoward." Sharon also contacted the Market Hall Traders Committee Chair, Linda Aston who runs 'The Mecca' now located in the Eagle Market who also was not aware of any occurrences.
