The Old Bell Hotel

Poltergeist-like activity (such as items being thrown around) behind the bar, a grey lady who walks around the building, and a serving wench in room 29 have been encountered. This latter spectre is said to have been murdered by Bonnie Prince Charlie's men in 1745; she was seen trying to relieve a boy's asthma in the 1920s and three decades later was seen by a lady who saw her bending over her baby in the cot. Her murderer is also said to have been seen, described as bald with a knife in his hand, standing over her body. Children's voices have been heard too, and a lady in Victorian clothing seen downstairs.
