The Jorrocks

Poltergeist activity have been reported in the cellar where a bucket was thrown at a barman - this is where a female skull was unearthed in 1994 (which is nicknamed "George," the original name of the building). A man with long hair and wearing a blue coat has been seen on the stairs, the landing, and the bar area and there are also claims of a Victorian lady. Items have also been known to go temporarily missing and crockery has been moved in the kitchen. In the past, the sound of horses, and laughing were heard, and a "human groan" is often heard. Additionally, a phantom rat chased by two phantom jack Russell terriers was once seen while a disembodied voice urging the dogs to get the pest was also heard!
